Columbia University holds its formal graduation ceremonies in May for all students who graduate in May or in the PREVIOUS February or October.  If you graduate in February, you can only participate as a graduate in the ceremonies held in May AFTER YOUR GRADUATION DATE.  Check the links from the GSAS Website above for details.

International students should check with ISSO about inviting distant friends and family. 

Information on how to invite family and friends for Graduation is HERE.  The GSAS Convocation does not require individual tickets for family members to attend.  The Columbia Commencement limits the number of tickets.
